    Shadowbringers code went to the wrong email

    So i just paid for shadowbringers expansion but the code was sent to a really old email (that i forgot even exists) on the billing address that was auto filled (thinking it would send the code to my account email) so now I've paid for shadowbringers but have no was of getting the code or recovering the email. is there anything i can do?

    Will i be able to refund via my bank since the code is not in use?

    If you do a chargeback from your back, I think it'll kind of mess you over from other things I've heard on the forums about them. Can you access the old email in any way? If not you should contact support to see if anything else can be done about sending it to your actual email.

    I would contact support before you do anything else. This sounds like something that they could help you with. Maybe they can send another code to the right email or something. I wouldn't ask for a chargeback because they're weird about that sort of thing.

    You'll get your money back, but your Square Enix account will be terminated. They consider it theft.

    The best thing to do is to try and see if you can contact an actual human being from their support (assuming they exist and aren't just mythological beings).

    If you bought it from the SE store, you should be able to see your code right on your purchase page from your purchase history.
