It would also help if we didnt need cloth, but only yarn or its raw mats, so we dont need 3 steps inbetween but only on mat. When doing parts for our submarine i got crazy from all these steel-whatever parts in x different versions >_>

It's such a massive PITA. I can accept like... one step of processing, like ore to ingots. Bolls to thread. Sometimes there's 3, or branching items like ore -> ingot -> plate, ore -> ingot -> rivet, ore -> ingot -> bolt. If it was to promote different trades I could understand, but they are often all from the same damn trade anyway so it's just a waste of our time.
It seems the developer agreed this was a stupid idea, and generally there are less ways materials can be converted in current expansion, but I'd still say they could tighten things up.
