Thank you for replying. However, I fear you have not read my initial description of the problem, and my original post where I describe my attempts at fixing this issue, properly.

As I said, I have already made sure to install all windows updates, optional as well, as I do on the regular.
I have attempted a clean boot of my pc, and attempted to launch the game with no other programs running but FFXIV and it is still the same error message. This includes any and all overlays.

Would you like me to post a system report from a clean boot?

And for the sake of full clarity - the error message is delivered upon launching the game, where the game crashes. It is a launch error that crashes the game, a launch crash is if you will.

I will attempt a re-installation of the game, however I highly doubt it will help as I recently installed it after having it uninstalled for a year, and it is the exact same error message showing as it was a year ago.
