If you are going to make suggestion try to think about things that would actually fit into the world of the game, come on Blitzball, seriously?

I'll speak like the typical MMORPG gamer: This is 2012, keeping with the theme of the world is archaic and not what people want in MMORPGs.

Speaking like someone with a brain: Blitzball itself wouldn't fit in XIV, but a monster arena, Colosseum or Pankration from XI would definitely fit into this world given the hostile environment.
