Anyone else sees Coincounter going for Animal instinct but then isntead of turning towards the group and reset hate he just does 100 tonze swing without even
readying it? like no animation nothing, just swings in ur face...

I was just wondering if anyone else has that sometimes.
And if yes. is it lag or wtf is it?

Are you sure it was swing and not swipe? Swing's charge up is sooo long that not even lag can make it hit you. Swipe's is relatively fast though and he does seem to like WSing right after Animal Instinct. Just have your healer(s) keep you topped off and it doesn't matter.

I have less than a second to react to the swing. so prolly my lag is insane compared to yours.
I have to start running exactly as it pops in the log.
Also Swing will kill u even if u at full hp... It's the swipe that will leave you with some hp.
Oh and what i am talking about is no charge animation at all after animal instinct.
Just straight swing.

Swings are fine for me. When I see him readxying it, I got enough time to run, but Swipes...no chance.

I try to evade them everytime, but no matter how fast I start to run through him once he starts readying it, I get hit(and pushed away to his back...so I was standing behind him...)

I'm sitting in germany btw. Another person I know who sometimes tank him(Indonesia) has no problem at all evading his swipes...

I got HP gear on my WAR for Coincounter(4900HP), so I can just take the Swipes w/o problem...but it still annoys me that no matter how fast I start running, I can't evade it...

Animal Instict followed by an instant WS though...didn't happen to me yet.

Ya its really rare but whenever it occurs theres nothing u can do really...

you play windowed or full screen? try to lower your settings abit, play in windowed and disable ambient occlusion and depth of field.
Normally connection isnt the problem as long as its green, if it turns yellow or red at fight its your connection. otherwise its you pc and ver rare its the client be cause of corruption or whatever. i noticed a fast hdd helps alot since alot of data gets accessed

Not just tank. Deadly to DDs too. I always play with JP players. I notice that before I can even see Coincounter ready its "laser beam" (I dunno the skill name), JP players are already on the move to evade the beam attack. Normally I will just follow other character movement =o=" If I wait till I see coinncounter readying its beam attack, normally I get beam-ed hard

LOL one fight, he glitches in his fallen position when he misses everyone with swing. He was moving around like that and you couldn't see what he was doing lol I don't think it's much to do with lag but more with glitches. BUT I will have to say that that was a fun boss fight. He's harder than the morbol. If any job isn't paying attention, they dead.

At low HP he seems to replace Animal Instinct > Eye of the Beholder with Animal Instinct > 100-ton swing, at least that's how it's been every time I've fought it since I noticed the switchup.
