This is literally "Hey we made a cool side thing in our spare time. Interested in buying it?" This, mind you, is on top of the simple fact they provide us with like 6 or 7 seasonal events per year that have pretty nice goodies

not to "ACKCHULLY" you but I feel this needs a little correcting.

This is not "spare time", this is an entire team hired and funded by their own work to make extras. This isn't the primary developer team doing extra work on the weekends or downtime, this is a whole other team they created and fund for the purpose of making these extras. It's like hiring a whole new dessert chef who only gets paid if people order the desserts.
