That seems odd, I would try to fight it I have been suspended from the forums many times and they always provide the post that was the result of the suspension. Sure the reason behind is kind of weak but if the email does not have the post or quote what was said for the suspended you should fight it.

You cannot fight a ban on these forums. There are no appeals, moderator action is final. Trust me. I know.

That sounds more egregious than having the cash shop as it is. In my opinion, a really bad idea. Fallout 1st here we go.

If yo uwant the items. Buy them. What is the difference between buying them through a faux subscription fee or just paying for them upfront? The difference is they can load that horrible subscription idea with a bunch of dog poop to justify the cost. While you can directly buy exactly the bonus items you want through the mogstation and not be paying continuously for garbage.
