When I first started playing in AAR, I didn't realize Alphinaud and Alisiae are only 16-years old, mostly because the way Alphinaud speaks. No kids I know talk like that.
So, I thought maybe they were from some sub Elezen race that is just as tall, like a lala-elezen.

I was leveling my sam with roulettes only, and I usually got low level ones. I get Susano NM for my Trial roulette, and I get killed by every attack. I ask what is wrong with me, and a healer tells me to look at my HP. Apparently I forgot to upgrade my gear for so long I was stuck on 50s gear... I gave the commendation to the other healer who kept raising me despite knowing I would die either way. Really embarrassing as it was probably my 14th leveled job.

The first time I ran Stone Vigil I was a Paladin. We’d stopped near, but not in, the big column room with the roving Aevis and my doorbell rang. Pizza Delivery!

I typed “BRB pizza at the door” and got my pizza in about 2 minutes... and came back to all of us Dead. Because the BLM aggro’d an Aevis that patrolled too close.

I have never since, and will never again, order food for delivery and then register for duties.

Here's an embarassing moment, when I first started playing a few years ago, I started as a CNJ. On my hotbar I had stone 1, with a little 50 in the corner of the skill icon. Unbeknownst to me, I thought it was saying that was how many stones I had left to throw, rather than how much MP it cost to cast stone 1. So when I went out to fight my first marmite, I almost died because I only used auto attack. I ran away just in time before dying and then actually read the tool tips.

Silly, but not entirely unreasonable. At least you corrected yourself pretty quickly.

I went into a Hades' Extreme farm party as an AST with my buddies and some randoms. I was wondering why my heal potency wasn't enough.

My essential dignity was doing less than half it usually does. Managed to clear it and when we got out of the instance I checked my gear. I had my level 60 anima weapon equipped.

I facepalmed so hard. My friends lost it over discord when I told them.

When I first started in ARR I didn't know that dungeons pulled players from all servers on your data center not just your own and tried to send friend requests and after I started my FC tried to recruit people.

I really underestimated how dummy thicc the Oppressor was and thought I was clear of that oncoming train in Hidden Gorge.

And you are the reason why my grand cosmos runs take 20 minutes even though the co-DPS is overgeared for the dungeon to the point that their 480 gear is ilvl synced. Please learn how to play the game.
