Switching jobs while in a duty

The only place where I could see it being useful is PotD and HoH where queues aren't resticted behind jobs to begin with, honestly. And even there it can place a beginning for argues about "eh we're all DPS can somebody switch please" while no one wants to switch and here we are having a fight among party member with monsters looking at this scene with popcorn. Outside of this - no, thanks.

P.S. For some reason, almost every time I see you in threads, you keep bringing up WoW. If it's so good, maybe it's better to go there and be happy? I'm sure I already said it, even to you specifically, OP. We aren't in WoW. And we didn't come to FF14 to play WoW. We're here to play FF14 with all its advantages and disadvantages.

PotD and HoH both save your progress based on the class/job you joined as. If anything, they're the only places this can't happen.

True. The said feature could be somewhat useful there though, if saving of the progress didn't exist or worked in another way.
