You know, even thought it doesn't mean anything really, I don't want everything to become too streamlined. It makes for a more satisfying RPG feel imo if you do still have to manually equip that soul stone in order to unlock your potential. If you don't, you'll have to deal with the consequences.
There are usually lots of interactions that are essentially meaningless in RPGs but they're there for immersion and for making it feel like you have more freedom and control over your character
