Why Isn't "Sapper Strike" Showing Up For My Squadron?

1) I'm a First Lt.
2) I've completed 5 different Command Missions.
3) The Squadron NPC has a '!' quest marker, tells me I've step 2 and now have unlocked a "flagged mission", just like he did when I unlocked the first one to get rank-up from Second Lt.
4) I have 4 troops over level 50 that did the 5 pre-reqs.

I presume this is "Sapper Strike" at level 50 but it isn't showing. I know of no other reqs. except the 2 I have done, so why is this mission not showing?

Are you looking under the Routine Mission tab?

/sigh .. the less-than-intuitive UI in the game strikes again.

No, I was looking at the Priority Mission list as that's what's opened by default, the icons above the "Priority Mission" heading just don't look like a 'toolbar' to me so I never click them.

You're right of course, the flagged mission is in the "Routine Mission" list.

Yea it took me a moment to realize where it was it myself. But now you know and knowing is half the battle.
