Its often recommended to keep whatever gear you get from dugeons that is "rare" or with a green background. That usually lasts you through quite a few levels. Accessories doo show up on dungeons but not that often. your best bet is to buy high quality versions of the accessories you can find on the marketboard. But a lot of the low level crafted items can be easily made by a crafter if you're part of an FC.
If you say so.
Your accessories, like all your gear, I would recommend not letting them lag more than 10 equip levels below the level of the content you're doing (Except for the "level cap" levels of 50, 60, 70, and 80 where it becomes more about meeting the minimum ilvl for content). Past level 50 I'd say try not to fall 4 or more ilvls behind (upgraded tomestone gear from the previous level cap is basically 3 levels into the next expansion though.)
Upgrading accessories can be a pain during the base ARR, and you may need to hit the marketboard now and then for upgrades. Once you get into Heavensward and beyond, simply doing your sidequests alongside the MSQ will help keep you geared up.
Also, make sure your gear increases your main stat, which is DEX for archer.
yes i know for archer dex im playing a bunny Acn at the minute i know will be int thanks for the info![]()
The information given above is all good and accurate. Ill only add that jewelry stats dont scale as quickly as other pieces of gear. The difference between a level 30 and 40 necklace is typically 1 point in your main stat and maybe 2 points in a substat. So yes, try to keep everything semi up to date. But before 50, the jewelry is the least important thing to upgrade. Level 50 is the spot where jewelry takes its first big step stat wise(a good level 50 necklace would be 20ish points better then a good level 45 one).
+1 to the "don't worry about it til 50" crowd. You can just use quest rewards or dungeon drops until about 50, when you should try to get Tomestone gear in Mor Dhona. Basically, every expansion's "endgame" (50,60,70,80) has a full set of gear that will last well into the next (so the 50 "Ironworks" set will last til about..55ish).
There should be buyable accessories at the gear merchants in the three major towns. They should be sufficient for basic leveling purposes.
