my character was deleted?

I logged on this morning to play and raid with my FC but I found out my character was deleted! And I had just been on her 9h prior saying goodnight to my FC?! I don't know how she was deleted nor why she was and not any others. I summited help to get her back but I was told I needed to wait for 24h! that's ridiculous. She shouldn't have been missing in the first place. She was my main I played for two years. And now I can't do anything. She had a House with Tons of stuff in it and stuff from the Mogstation that my friends bought me. it doesn't seem to be like my account was hacked, but I am changing my passwords. Its almost been 24 hours and I want my character back. Im a ps4 player 24/7 mostly but i do have it bought for PC.

SE said earlier customer support is limited do to Corona, so that's why its taking so long. It basically just email atm and they said there were going to be delays in response. So, not so ridiculous.

But in the meantime a few things you could try is checking to be sure you are on the correct data center since if it was accidently changed your char would not show up in char selection. Check lodestone to make sure she is still there, contact someone to or use another account to log in and check to see if your house is still there, if you are on your FC discord, have them check to see if your still part of the fc, all of these would tell you if indeed she was deleted, or if something else was going on. Usually, in these cases, its just a logged into the wrong data-center thing. So check other sources first to be sure things are still good. If not, you were indeed likely hacked. Do you have the 1 time password protection?

I did all of what you suggested. My friends didn't see me on the list anymore and I wasn't in my FC and i did check mog station and my character was completely gone. But I have her back now. They did the retrieval a few hours ago. and Now the only thing I am missing is yes my house is 100% gone which sucks so much! And would be fine except the housing retrieval guy in the housing district doesn't have all the housing items I had. D:

It seems suspicious that a character would just disappear. And since your house/property was relinquished, that means it was either let go by the 'player' or the character itself was deleted. Like, by a live person. I feel like a bug in the system wouldn't fully delete a character and have all the same usual consequences. You may want to check if someone's watching your old property. I know people go nuts for buying houses, so there's probably a few watching it, but I wouldn't put it past someone to find a way to get into a person's account just to free up their house for purchase.

And like LalaRu said, get a security token. Changing your passwords won't help much if they got in once already.

I would check here as Reinha said. Mogstation > Square Enix Account Settings > Account Information > enter your birthdate > account > login history
There are limited entries there so check immediately.

I would also recommend the one time password token if you don't have one already as has already been suggested (make sure you keep the emergency removal password written down somewhere you'll be able to find it again when activating it!). If someone snagged your login information you'll need to figure out how. Did you give the login information to a friend that may have abused it? Did you follow a link someone gave you that required you to login to your account first? There have been a lot of phishing scams going around from people promising large gil handouts, mogstation discounts or information on popular ff14 streamers that are supposedly quitting the game. The software token wont save you in case of the phishing scam because you end up handing over the un-used code to the scammer. The other possibility is malware on your pc that may have logged your information in which case you'll need to hunt it down yourself, hope a scanner can track it down for you or wipe the computer clean to start fresh.
