First of all I would like to congratulate everyone who worked hard and earned their place in the rankings.. well done! <3

Now I would like to express my major frustration and disappointment with the rewards we got for a whole week of crafting like mad men and women. Even similar competitions/rankings in pvp they get titles AND other rewards!! We only got 2 titles?! really!? I'm not asking for a mount like the pvp reward.. but I swear I read somewhere they said titles among other rewards so I was semi SURE they will give us a lvl 1 crafting tool for glam for the crafting job you ranked top 12 in.. specially that you can win a rank in every crafting/gathering job! so I thought nice! show off my tool glam while crafting in the 1-2 or more crafting jobs I won top 12 in! but no.. you get a title or two thats what you get for your lack of sleep... is a glam tool piece too much to ask? did the crafters busting their asses not deserve that little extra reward?

Im so sorry if I sound abit over the top... the seemingly endless grind might finally caught up to me. I can say for sure now I will not be participating in the next crafting competition, its not worth it, but I will be cheering you guys on if you do.

Yoshi specifically mentions titles as rewards, in the most recent live letter.

"For the ranking system, the rankings will begin with the release of Patch 5.21 and will be limited to a 10-day period. We’ve prepared special titles as a reward for making it into the rankings."

I'm asking for a mount. Can't have one group with exclusive stuff and the rest gets scraps. Crafters and gatherers wants exclusives too. All or none I say.

They've never promised anything more.
In fact, they seemed to have kept it intentionally unappealing to avoid people re-ranking, thus giving everyone a shot at it. All with the intention of garnering more people into the crafting or gathering classes.

I got my title from it so I'm happy. I'm glad on next one don't have to try get up in ranks again.

For a given period, each player's skyward points are tallied and listed on the Lodestone. The skyward points earned during the ranking period are known as the seasonal score. Players finishing in high ranks will be eligible for rewards and achievements.

the above paragraph is what i copy pasted from lodestone ishgard restoration page, i think the "rewards and achievements" parts is really really bad announcement from the team, we know achievement is giving title, so when they say "AND" some people will think a real rewards other than the achievement that giving you the title, is it a scam? no, but it does feels like one for some, especially people who dont watch the PLL and read interview (the PLL and interview isn't supposed to be the game official announcement media)

I honestly think it's for the better that they didn't lock anything super amazing behind the rankings considering how saturated it was with cheaters.

This is what I read and made me think there is more... Thank you for finding it for me. But I guess at the end it is my fault for not looking too much into it.
