The Main Story Quests are linear, so the ShB quests will not begin until you've totally completed SB, and likewise for SB after HW.

The question is: will I need to finish, for example, the HW MSQ's in order to unlock SB MSQ's? Don't get me wrong, I want to, because I don't want to reach, again for example, level 70 without finishing SB and have SHB quests dropping on me like the previous expansion never happened.

I want to play this for the MSQ's in a linear way and don't mind the over level (not anymore).
