A message 'cooldown' in party chat to prevent ASCII spamming.

Good evening, GMs. I'd like to suggest or at least have the developer team consider measures against spamming in party chat such as ASCII art, similar to what we have in /tell, /say. /yell and /shout.

This ASCII spam can be VERY annoying especially for players that enable sounds, so it can be really easy to lose focus whilst doing content while someone spams the party chat.

In short, add something to this effect to other channels of communication in-game:

I would love to be spared all the stupid huge macros that block up my entire chat log.

I'm actually surprised that RMT bots have to get creative with their spam but people can just make huge macros that take up 10+ lines of chat in a single second without any penalty. Sure you can report it (which I have for more extreme cases), but there should be some kind of preventative measures to prevent so many messages being sent out at once already.

i agree in the sense that this one just sexualizes a woman and just puts a moogle head on it. but there are ones that spam sounds per line been posted, that's super annoying.

I dunno, I think they're pretty funny. I wouldn't be surprised if a whole lot other people appreciate them as well.
I wouldn't qualify using a macro once to say hi or tyfp with a nice ascii art as spamming. Maybe if it's sent over and over.
