Thank you for the feedback but perhaps you need to do your own research before you act like a bootyhole. Like Talitha said, there are exception. An additional exception is when you turn them in for poetics from any of the poetic vendors.
This needs to be on ALL 'learnable' items. Rolls, minions, TT cards, hairstyles, master books, etc. "Have I learned this" is a MUCH more useful piece of information than "is there one currently in my inventory." It is utterly baffling to me that 6+ years in that still isn't a thing.
You are absolutely right, I am going to quote this on my OP.This needs to be on ALL 'learnable' items. It is utterly baffling to me that 6+ years in that still isn't a thing.
100% agree. I tend to pass on stuff I know I already have, but I'm not gonna stop and make everyone wait while I scroll through my logs to make sure I don't have it already if I'm not sure. :/This needs to be on ALL 'learnable' items. "Minion acquired" in the MB was another one of the things they were talking about adding pre-HW and then swept under the carpet during the 3.0-3.1 deadzone. It's something that can be handled completely client-side too, since all that's needed is a visual indicator.
Another +1 here, I honestly would go through the entire marketboard to buy all the rolls I don't have.. but I don't want to have to print out a checklist to compare it against. Just something in the tooltip that says whether you have it or not or a warning when you roll/buy would be fine, so many times I've rolled on something that someone else could use more only to have to MB it for like 200 gil.
WHERE IS THIS KETTLE EVERYONE KEEPS INTRODUCING ME TO?
