    Primal/Trial Totems

Can these be converted to currency please, that is basically what they are, they have no other purpose besides to trade for items/weapons/accessories just like the beast tribe currencies that used to be inventory items. They just feel like unnecessary inventory bloat.

They really ought to be. The only reason I can thin of not to is if the spaghetti code is THAT BAD that having a couple dozen or so, or however many totem types we're at now, as inventories to track on all characters. Honestly, I'd say the same for things like the normal mode raid gear tokens too, and the coins from alliance raids.

If you can't trade/sell it on the MB, and its only purpose is to be exchanged for items, it should just be a currency.

They have done this thing once before when they changed beast tribe currency items to be put into the currency tab, the code cannot be that bad it cannot handle the same exact procedure just with different items.

As for the raid items that may be more iffy because they can be rolled on so they may be classed seperately in code whereas the primal tokens/final floor item/savage books cannot be rolled on they just drop in inventory like when you completed beast tribe quests back before they changed it.

If you have a lot, turn them in and desynth the item. If lucky you can get a crafting item that's worth a lot depending on what it was from.

If they became a currency, that would become bloated really fast too. Post ARR, there are only 3 beast tribes per expac, so 3 currencies. But there are 7+ trials per expac, so that would be 7+ extra currencies to keep track of when they are only meant for 1-2 things.

    It's fine as is IMO.

But if they were currency they wouldn't be taking up valuable inventory/retainer space.

How does it become bloated? This change would take them out of retainer/inventory space and put them in the currency tab.

They could seperate the trials with Trial 1 section/tab of previous expansions' trials and Trial 2 section/tab for current expansion's trials. Given that each line in the beast tribe currency tab can hold 3 seperate items+numbers it would take 4 lines(1 for header 3 for the totems since 7 trials drop them) at most to show HW/SB trials. Easy to find what you are looking for no need to have inventory space filled up by something that is a currency in all but name.

I'd argue it is worst to keep track of them now due to so many of them and they can be anywhere from your inventory, your retainers and your saddlebag.

It would be nice if they could be used to buy other drops from their respective encounters. I really can't see a reason why they can't do this considering the tokens aren't tradeable, and participating in the fights is the only way to get them.

Just have a currency tab for them with a drop down to select different expansion tokens. SImilar to looking at the reputation screen for beast tribes. That prevents UI bloating and gets rid of the inventory bloat.
