Does anyone else remember this event a few years ago now? We were giving a different coloured Elbst to use temporarily as a mount. A lot of people liked the look of it and I always thought it would end up in the game, even if just a cash shop item. But it never did.

Did they ever give a reason as to why we couldn’t permanently obtain one? Or is it something they would look into in the future?

I remember, I really liked that Elbst.

yeah, it also had some kind of a water attack but square has propably just forgottten about it.

I'm going to take a guess and wager it's because, at the time, the elbst was not a flying mount. And, far as I know, they haven't released a non-flying mount in a long time. So, no sense in releasing a mount that couldn't fly, and not worth the trouble of making that elbst fly, followed by the outcry to make the beast tribe mount also fly.

The elbst was one of the last mounts to be granted flight, so maybe there's a chance of it now, if they ever come up again.

It’s mount ability did (a very small amount of) damage! I remember when me and a bunch of people killed a Buffalo with it.

At the same time, there was a discussion of this forum about how Rank 8 in ARR tribes could let us buy color-swap of the mounts, like it allows us to buy color-swap of the minions. With this elbst being the Sahagins' new mount obviously.

What do you know... I have also been wondering about the status of the "goldfish" elbst as I like to call it.

I think we need to as Yoshi-P about it next chance we get.
