Perhaps we could use personal effects as a perment character customization option

So I was thinking how much I would like to be a tailed human similar to zidane and Was thinking that what would be nice if we use this personal effect to add in character effects that people can cast magic and fight with it on.

So Like tails for all races effect that moves around Like monkey tail,fox tail etc

and my favoirt could do it on wings so we have winged races kinda with the personal effects

and my final favoirt idea to use is vampire fangs

There is armor and glamour that gives you tails ingame.. off top of my head there is the werewolf set from mogstation and the Warg set from Grand Cosmo.. there's probably more and different types

having to use a glamor on a piece of armor for a body part or part of a creature look is unreasonable stupid to not hve this when they added it might as well use it fully

I'm not disagreeing.. the tails on those sets are way to fluffy for the creatures they are based on.. honestly I'd just prefer a canine race be playable

It's a bit of a slippery slope, unfortunately. If they give us wings or tails unrelated to our character races, it's only a matter of time before everything is as ugly as in other current MMOs, like WoW, GW2, etc.

Where the slippery slope begins is completely subjective in itself. We already have characters running around in pig and frog suits alongside other weird outfits. I'd find tails and wings as accessories to be far more interesting by comparison.

These kind of items, effect type items, are used a lot as filler for lootboxes. ESO has a lot of these kind of things, literal trash to waste your money on. Granted, if this was going to become a problem in FFXIV, the mogstation would probably already be more filled with things like emotes and the like.

One, or two could be nice, in-game as a filler reward from completing content I'd say. It would be preferable if this was a temporary effect, similar to the garbage from PoTD or whatever. It would be cooler than some random logo or whatever that floats over your head. Definitely not something you can go in a duty with, God forbid have it on permanently. If that was the case the 'hiding other player's glamours' idea would actually have some ground to stand on.
