Old Player Returning; A Question

Hello, I am Binnie.

I am a returning FFXIV player. I am primarily a SCH and I always have been. I like fairies. Previously, I played all the way up to the end of heavensward when it first came out.

I am returning now to find that healing has changed a lot. Specifically, I am confused about Role actions and buffs. Is it still necessary to level other healing classes for buffs and stances or are the role abilities fixed?

As a SCH heading into a 4 person dungeon, are there buffs i need to pop on the party? It's been a while for me. Any insight and/or information would be hugely helpful.

I was very sad to see how the fairies were re-worked, but i still love fairies v.v

No you dont neet to multi class for skills or abilities anymore and there is no prebuffs like protect or stone skin anymore.. best thing to do is pop a Adlo or Succor on your tank or party for the shield and then go..

Yeah, don't.

Jokes aside. Just try and learn to heal with oGCDs before your GCDs. Get used to your fairy being way more clunky and unresponsive now than it was in the past. Keep aetherflow off cooldown. Use recitation with either excog or indom if you can ( when you get that ability anyway)
