Steps:
After dying in The Aurum Vale, I returned and decided to switch from Warrior to Paladin. I switched classes, activated the job, and equipped my gear (manually, without macros). Upon re-entering the Miser's Mistress battlefield I noticed that my Weakness debuff was stuck at 0:00 and was not fading (HP/MP values were still affected). We decided to engage anyway. During the fight, I used Sentinel, Rampart, etc. and noticed that the buffs were not fading either and that I was still receiving the benefits of their effects. Similar effects that did not fade were Divine Veil and Regen.

Then, Miser's Mistress used Bad Breath and none of the debuffs faded. Finally, I got hit by her stun weapon skill and was permanently stunned until I shut down the game and logged back in, at which time my character functioned as normal.

We were unable to successfully recreate the bug, but it did occur again to a party member of mine who switched to Black Mage from Warrior after dying in Cutter's Cry. We noticed the following:

He was unable to recover MP through normal resting and had to use Ethers and abilities (Sanguine Rite)

On-next-cast abilities, such as Blood for Blood, Quelling Strike, Blindside, etc. faded when he used weaponskills or spells that would normally consume them. Similarly, Featherfoot faded on dodging an attack.

However, "duration" type abilities, like Hawk's Eye, Invigorate, Sanguine Rite, and Spinning Heel did not fade. Sanguine Rite persisted through changing from Black Mage to Monk.

Additionally, Tin Snips reported that the "active" time for Haymaker (the evade-reaction ability for PGL) was unlimited, and he was able to do it at any time he chose.
