You can just use something like:
/levelsync ON
/action "Dismount"
Using the mounting macro for both purposes can also work so you don't need a separate dismounting button:
/ac "Mount Roulette"

to add
throw this as the top line on either macros
/micon "Mount Roulette"
That gives you the icon instead of the M
But here is the lodestone for all the / commands in game.

To my knowledge there is no macro for this (although it would be nice if I am wrong about this and there is).
The closest thing that I am aware of is to temporarily turn off names by using the hotkey set as "Target Filters" under the "System" tab of the "Keybinds" window. I think it is by default set to the "x" button, so you can press "x" (or whatever your keybind is) to hide character names / click through other characters if you're trying to do something in a congested area (e.g., summoning bell, Ishgard FATE turn-ins, etc.).

Thank you for the help.
I'm still pretty new to this whole macro thing and find it confusing.
Much appreciated.

/micon "Draught Chocobo" mount
/mount "Company Chocobo"
/levelsync
Replace company chocobo with w/e mount you want that macro to use. Keep the quotes. And you don't have to include the draught chocobo as the icon, of course.
Levelsync by default turns off when you leave a FATE, so I don't see the point in adding an "On" after it, but I suppose you can. If you just leave it with no on or off after it, though, it'll just toggle from w/e the current state is to the other state. And since its always off once you leave a FATE, and you aren't likely to be mounting and dismounting int he same FATE, then having no "on" isn't a problem to me.

Same with healers - just unsync, heal everyone up, wreck any non-FATE mobs that may have appeared, and then jump back into the fight.
But yeah, anything without the ON or OFF after it generally just toggles it. For example, "/bgm" turns on/off the BGM music, whereas if you enter "/bgm 50" or some other number it sets the BMG volume to that level. Same with a lot of other stuff in the game ("/action error [ON/OFF]". Other helpful macros are "/macrolock" (which prevents other macros from running if you currently have a macro running) and "/macrocancel" (which is great if you use crafting macros).
In terms of layouts, I tried various things but ended up with a single bar at the top that allows you to access various things:
I have buttons that swap me between my normal fishing and spearfishing hotbars on my Fisher, and 5 buttons for my various BLU layouts. For that purpose, it is nice to have 1 button that saves and 1 button that loads BLU layouts:
Load BLU 1
/macrolock
/hotbar copy ARC 1 current 1
/hotbar copy ARC 2 current 9
/hotbar copy ARC 3 current 10
/bluespellbook preset 1
/gs change 11
/hudlayout 1
Save BLU 1
/macrolock
/hotbar copy current 1 ARC 1
/hotbar copy current 9 ARC 2
/hotbar copy current 10 ARC 3
I also use different HUD layouts for my Botanist/Miner (I like to have the minimap basically right beneath my character so I don't have to look up to see where nodes are), and also when I'm in PvP. Here's my macros for switching to them:
Botanist:
/macrolock
/macroerror off
/macroicon 20 gearset
/gs change 20
/title set "Saint of the Firmament"
/minion "Namingway"
<wait.1>
/ac "Truth of Mountains"
/hudlayout 2
Miner:
/macrolock
/macroerror off
/macroicon 19 gearset
/gs change 19
/title set "Saint of the Firmament"
/minion "Namingway"
<wait.1>
/ac "Truth of Forests"
/hudlayout 2

Ok so during combat, my eyes float a bit, that's why hotbars 1, 2 and 3 are usually split like this. Buffs/Debuffs always at the top. Most single target skills (for any job) on the left and aoe on the right.
As of the rest of the hotbars...yeah, I definitely should be trimming it![]()
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
