I can't think of a single game post 2018 that doesn't have patches and tweaks. It's not the 90's anymore, and you agreed to the terms that said they can change features at any point.

That's hardly true. Unless you consider the theatrical release of Bladerunner or Kingdom of Heaven to be the "true" version of their releases rather than the universally preferred director's cuts that came later. Or hell, even XIV 1.0 compared to 2.0 and beyond.

I don't even prefer the new version of the song, it does feel less "right" to me, but that hardly means the original version is always better.
