That's why all they'd need to do is make the Crystal Tower raids have a forced minimum ilevel. This way SE don't break their trend of nerfing old content... though it's the player they're nerfing this time :^)Considering that echo exists and is even give immediately in a lot of older content from the get go, they will never buff content. ever. quote it, mark my words. It will never happen. Trust me I like harder/engaging normal content in my roulettes too, but in 7 years have yet to see ANY content buffed other than removing bugs from fights that made them cheese.
They have a minimum item level requirement to queue. They do not synch players to that minimum level, which is what previous posters have been referring to.
Personally, I think synching to that minimum is unnecessary. Maybe synch LotA and ST to the minimum of the next raid in the series? Enough to make it doable, but still have at least some awareness required. Clearly synching them all to the current 130 is overkill.
I wish they would set the ilvl cap to the highest a person's ilvl could be when it launched. These raids use to be fun. The Nier raid is fun. It wont be fun once we get to the end of shb and our ilvls stomp all the bosses.
People who complain about making LoTA harder, that isn't the argument. The argument is to make them playable as they once were. And if that isn't your cup of tea but at the same time ENJOY the Nier raid, your a hypocrite. We're asking for more Nier raids in terms of difficulty. And if the thought of a slight challenge and being in a raid more than ten minutes ticks you off, then I don't think raids were ever your speed and should be disregarded and seen irrelevant to the conversation.
Also fix the game so ppl cannot ilvl cheese. Or rotate raid tiers weekly.
They will never do that for roulette. There is a minimum item level sync for undersized party if people want.
Maybe, but unless they want to change the sync rule for every content, they won't do that for just Crystal Tower. And I don't expect them to either.Personally, I think synching to that minimum is unnecessary. Maybe synch LotA and ST to the minimum of the next raid in the series? Every other roulette except for MSQ, Normal Raid, and Expert has varying synch levels depending on the instance (and MSQ is only excepted because it only has two instances at the same level anyway, so there's no level variance to consider). Even among same-level instances in the same roulette, the 50/60/70 and 80 roulettes have some instances synched to different item levels. So there's already precedent for it.
That's not what I'm talking about. The sync for many content still makes them easier than when they were originally released. They're not going to make exceptions for Crystal Tower like they did for Ultimate.Every other roulette except for MSQ, Normal Raid, and Expert has varying synch levels depending on the instance (and MSQ is only excepted because it only has two instances at the same level anyway, so there's no level variance to consider). EDIT: Actually, it doesn't look like they even do item level sync for the other alliance raids, so they definitely won't do that for Crystal Tower.

I've gotten Labyrinth of the Ancients for the last three days. It's so fucking boring.
I like the aesthetic and the music for the old raids. I'm just so sick of facerolling through this shit. I don't play games just to slog through them for a reward, I want to have fun along the way. I don't care that Labyrinth of the Ancients and Syrcus Tower only take ~10-12 minutes. Why do I care if I'm not having fun? Why even play this content in the first place? Why have they never received updates? I remember when Yoshida played ST with a bunch of people during a live broadcast and even he was surprised how many mechanics were being skipped, and that was before Shadowbringers.
Really depends of the runs, sometimes, it seems it would be an absolute necessity, the run next after just go smoth then... I don't know.
Maybe they could make the synchro effect to be a bit more strict for secondary stats.
I question the Sastasha is harder than LOTA right now. The only thing complicated and hard about the first three dungeons is the slime boss in copperbell and that's only if you have to constantly tell people to not kill the bomb and let it explode the slime... perhaps getting lost in sastasha if people want to run everywhere. Sastasha was done with four rogues when they first came out and no healer... at minimum level to get in...I can say the same to people that say that Alliance raids take too long so they need to stay nerfed so they can do them faster. If you don't like them being long - don't queue for them.
24-man raids are one of my favorite parts of the game. It saddens me to see them in such state and I miss the times when LotA only just came out.
I never do Expert, nor do I have Pixie Beast tribe quests, I haven't even set a foot in ShB yet, and even after that I wouldn't care for rushing to level and grinding tomes.
Sarcastic or not, I don't see a logic in this "suggestion" to increase the difficulty of leveling dungeons. Sastasha has actually higher difficulty than LotA right now.
Nobody here wants anything to be impossibly hard, I don't understand where people get this from. We want old raids to actually have their mechanics like they used to. They were never imposibly hard, even when they just came out.
I want to click towers on Behemoth again, I want to jump on the platforms on the back of the arena on Labolas again, I want to place skeletons properly so we won't wipe on the dragon again. This is fun. Running through and killing everything in a few pokes without any possibility of messing up is not fun.
That being said yes the first three raids that comprise the Crystal Tower series are a face roll, at this point either create a minimum ilevel roulette for alliance raids, or just stick the crystal tower raids in a roulette on there own and lower the rewards.
