There is a distressing amount of DoL bots in the Diadem and it has to be stopped.

Maybe SE doesn't have an "awful track" with cheaters and the person you're consistently reporting just isn't a botter. Maybe they're not replying to your /tell because they don't want to, or they're ignoring the tab. Maybe their actions look janky to you because of lag, or because they're not concentrating and are flying in a straight line. Have you tried doing the Firmament fate? With the lag everyone is teleporting all over the place and there's a lot of jankiness, or are they all bots?

No, I have played FFXI since 2005 and this game since 2010, they definitely have an awful track record with botters and ppl using cheats because they are so scared about offending a cheater or accidently banning the wrong person they just ignore it for the most part, unless its just too disruptive to ignore.

Any proof for your statement, or just typical tinfoil hat? If there was any truth to your statement then why would they ban people monthly for botting and RMT? The person you're constantly reporting isn't botting, that's why they're not getting banned. That's further proven when people have been complaining about botting in diadem when the bot didn't offer Diadem support until a few days ago, something you can easily check yourself as I'm not going to post a link here. Not sure why you need to wave around how long you've been playing as it doesn't lend any credibility to your theory.

The fact that you are so well versed on bots that you could provide links and know what services they offer so well that you know when and how they have updated those services, also suggests why you are so defensive and confrontational about this subject and are trying to deflect and start a flame war rather than converse like a grown up.

What is it with this forum and swinging around how long you've been here for? Are you just trying to show off or does being here for a long time make you think it gives your argument some credibility? perhaps in all the time you've been around you may have noticed that publishers tend not to name and shame, nor confirm who has been banned due to privacy laws and their ToS.

It's quite frankly insulting when people cry "bot" because someone does something better or faster than them. Do you complain when someone clears a dungeon before you? Because someone has more gil than you? Because someone got a house and you didn't? It just screams insecurity really.

It's about being around for a period of time to see the inaction. I didn't just report someone yesterday and expect it to be dealt with by now. Reporting people for very clearly botting. As an example, one person I reported multiple times was botting timed nodes near non-stop. I caught them one day using something to farm mobs. They would fly in a perfect vertical circle until a goat spawned and aggroed, kill it and then return to the perfect circle repeating this over and over again. That was YEARS ago and they're still active to this day. The best part is they've used all their ill-gotten gains to buy up a bunch of houses all over on multiple of their characters.

If you've been around and reported any player botter over the years and actually kept an eye out, you can clearly see how unresponsive reporting them is. No one can provide proof here though because while all botting is handled by the STF, harassment (name & shaming) is handled by the GM team whom for the most part handle issues in a timely manner and despite obvious cheating, the botters are still protected by that part of the ToS.
