There is a distressing amount of DoL bots in the Diadem and it has to be stopped.

I'm seeing what looks like normal players cheating with scripts. Went to the one of the fishing islands, 30-odd players sitting on top of each other. Very odd behaviour if people were doing that manually. There's an entire island and everyone choses to stand on top of each other? ... nah, I don't think so.

Whatever botting scripts they're using must be kind of primitive if they stacking on top of each other like that because I only used to see that happening back in the HW days.

Nowdays they seem to be specifically coded to have multiple spots they choose at random to not make themselves insanely obvious while fishing for things like Predators.

Diadem for gathering was a terrible idea it was like them asking for it to be over run by bots. With all the new changes they made it to easy for bots. Like the new stealth they added. They should have left it how phase one was setup and not added a ranking system to it.

top gatherer is full of supicious bot (not all), crafter on the other hand is mostly hand crafted, due to the complexity of the expert recipe, and botting normal recupe 24/7 wont make you catch up with people who grind expert 3 hour or so...

but wow, this ranking thing is so toxic... remember the reward is just a title...

The DoH rankings seem safe because while experts can be macro'd, you're only going to be getting low 5K collectability tops, which is worth about a fourth to a third as much points as a maxed craft while not actually being that much faster.

I call this into question. Not saying there aren't cheaters on the list. I am going to say that probably the 500K+ are a different type of player. A cheater would be smart and be in the 200k enough to break top 12 but not high enough that SE might want to check them. It would be nice if they waited a month reviewed all the top 12s and then handed out the rewards.



I can craft 41 level 80s per 30 minutes. An expert seems to take triple the amount of steps. So lets be generous and say they can craft 10 an hour. 8000 points an hour times 12 hours is 96000 a day. Some of these players 12 hours play time might even be low. Not to call a certain group of omni crafters no lifers, they definitely seem to attract a certain type of player who can put in a certain amount of time. If they have the time to craft the only thing stopping them is materials. Again this group of players also generally has a large sum of gil stashed. Also the mats they need are generally cheaper since only a small group can use them.

You can craft an expert in 3-4 minutes, that makes about 15-20 in 1h. so if u craft lets say 10h. u can make easily 200k pts if u know to craft (can make always 60k+ quality) instead of spam a 1button macro copied from someone u see. Not to say u can stash the collectables and hand em the next day so that can do 400k bump up in 1day.
Miners/ Botanist can do 80k-100k a day whit full time playing, but again they can store mats and turn in the next day.
I myself im in top12 and probably could be in 3-4 top12 crafter leaderboards if i wasnt farming my own mats.

I'd report any bot in the game no matter where they are or what they do, but the devs haven't given me yet a button for that purpose.

Even worse, this forum doesn't support the idea of calling people directly out when they do stupid / unacceptable things.

There are 3 gather bots that I've been reporting since early Stromblood days. Those 3 gather bots are still going strong today. I gave up because SE won't ban them.

Another potential issue is account sharing. I wonder if some players are taking shifts with spouses/close friends in order to stay online and gather for pretty much every hour of every day. Either way, some of the scores do not feel natural.
