Ocean Fishing mount frustration

From RNG to get a chance for spectrals to having to rely on teammates using the correct bait to even get them and also hoping they get a certain amount of fish so we can get the bonus at the end to having a full group of people who are leveling up who are an extreme high chances of having no idea what they're doing this is by far the most unfun and frustrating thing I have done in this game. I can now see why people leave if their isn't a spectral in the first round. Their needs to be some changes to this mode spectral rounds need improve chances higher tier fish need to spawn during spectral instead of the worthless "!" fish. Being at the mercy of rng and teammates using correct baits and hoping their rng is good is awful design. Ocean fishing is literally a casino in which to get the mega jackpot you need yourself to get the jackpot and the other people to also get the jackpot to even get a chance at the mega jackpot. Once I obtain this mount I will never step foot in ocean fishing again lmao.

I've done big fishing it doesn't require 23 other people to do the right thing. Big fishing is no where near as bad as this.

I've done this with 6 other people (forced entry after 15min elapsed) and still seen 3 rainbows and acquired the mount in that very same instance. It really is just RNG at best.

Apparently assuming this information is correct the fewer the amount of people that start the ocean fishing the higher the chance of getting a spectral round is to compensate incase it becomes dead content. So it is actually better to go in with fewer people who know what they're doing.

oh yes it is, and it's much worse actually, you just got lucky and caught maybe one of the easy big fishes just like some people got their mount on the first fishing trip.

I disagree I think ocean fishing is much more frustrating you may not and that's fine but when I personally weigh everything I personally think ocean fishing is more frustrating just having to rely on other people alone is a massive hassle. If I could queue by myself or with a group of like 6-7 as spectral chances increase then yes ide consider big fishing to be harder/more frustrating. I wouldn't instantly assume someone got lucky with one "easy big fish" that's just silly to even assume.

After hours and hours of attempts I finally managed to obtain it this was by far the most frustrating and unfun thing I managed to do in a long while.
