They have not done ANYthing related to Blue Magic. But I do know that in XI there was a Bluemage under the name Raubauhn. And I think the Immortals or something like that was the group/faction name. Good references and nods to another game...but are not tied or hint to Blue Magic in XIV at all.

The Imperials do not use Gunbreakers. Gunbreaker is an art made by the Hrothgar (in XIV of course) which uses Aether/Magic Infused Cartridges on a Sword with a Chamber similar to a gun. The Imperials are using basically Swords with Gun Barrels on them. The Main difference is One can Cut and Stab and fire Bullets, the other Infuses the Blade with energy of some kind.
Just like Dancer, if there was a Hint this was coming, then we should have gotten it sooner.

What Guild are you referring to? Or at the least what did you see in game that looked like a Gunners Guild? And..I guess how is it a Hint at a future Job?
Because the "Gunners" that we got are Machinists. They literally work with Machines, and they Developed guns as another machine to help in ranged Combat in the Ishgard army.
I dont see a sinle point in the game that this is hinted at.
And...I dont think people would be in an uproar if we had Paladin and not Dark Knight. People would just be more mad if we didnt have another Tank Job to play, and it could have been anything other then dark knight. Heck, we could have Gotten that job THIS expansion instead of HW.

And honestly adding Geomancer now is a must consinder the amount of tease the game does and the lack of a job that honestly focuses on all the elements.
They could just make Hammer Weapon designs for the Tank Jobs. XD
And nah on Geomancer, give us Chemist. It would be alot more interesting to have a 4th Healer, and Non-Magical Healer at that. Plus it would fit very well if we are going into Garlemald since they can't use Magic.
Btw...did you forget Conjurer & Whitemages use the Elements?
