Patch 5.21- 60 Durability Expert Crafting for Ishgard Restoration Artisanal Recipes

This is the Craftaholic Central tutorial demo for the 60 durability crafting rotations for the Ishgard Restoration Artisanal recipes. https://youtu.be/xxE10Yn9JE0 (8 minutes)

The system is designed to make consistent macro crafting difficult if not impossible. You will need to think about the best possible way to use the Conditions as they arise. My base stats for the demo are 2517/2452/540. Buffed with HQ BB + HQ Commanding Craftsman's Syrup for 2517/2558/606, non-specialist. See the Ariyala melding template link below.

    The Conditions:
For Expert Crafts, there is a Good condition possible, but no Excellent Condition and no Poor condition. You can get the following conditions:

    - Centered = +25% Success Rate, use on Rapid Synth, Patient Touch, or Hasty Touch
    - Pliant = 50% reduced CP, use on Waste Not, Waste Not II, Manipulation, Masters Mend or others as the circumstances dictate.
    - Sturdy = 50% reduced durability loss, use on Ground Work or Preparatory Touch or others depending on the circumstance.
    - Good = The same "good" as in all other crafting, produces a quality buff for one step.

The trick to Expert Crafting is simply being mindful of the Conditions as they occur and using the appropriate skill. Don't rush, go with the flow.

I've been getting the best results using the Specialist soul crystal, HQ BB + HQ Cunning Craftsman's Syrup. The soul crystal is helpful and is optional, not mandatory. I like to stock up on mats for one class (such as Weaver) while I have that crystal, then mass produce. A good alternate buff is HQ Mejillones al Ajillo + HQ Commanding or Cunning Craftsman's Syrup.

Start with: Muscle Memory then Veneration, (and Inner Quiet), Groundwork (Sturdy) or Rapid Synthesis (Centered) if the conditions are right. You can usually work in Innovation & Touch. Use Careful Observation to improve the odds. Remember to turn on Inner Quiet. Be sure your progress is in a good place then work on quality. In my experience it's best to get to 8500+ progress so you can finish with either Careful or Basic synthesis as your final step. There will be times when you will find yourself working back and forth between progress and quality depending on the current Condition. This method makes it easier to get most of the progress done up front, although the quality may be a bit lower depending on the rng. Using Careful Observation just before Byregot's may help to get a Good condition for a strong finish. My (statistical) average collectibility using this method is around 5500. Optional start: Reflect then Veneration, Groundwork (Sturdy) or Rapid Synthesis (Centered) if the conditions are right. You can usually work in Innovation & Touch. Use Careful Observation to improve the odds. Be sure your progress is in a good place then work on quality. In my experience it's best to get to 8500+ progress so you can finish with either Careful or Basic synthesis as your final step. There will be times when you will find yourself working back and forth between progress and quality depending on the current Condition. This option has the potential to produce higher quality although progress may be a bit tricky. My favorite buffs for this one are either HQ Commanding or Cunning Craftsman's Syrup and HQ Mejillones al Ajillo. My (statistical) average collectibility using this method is about 6000. From time to time rng will be terrible, just part of this method of crafting. There will be some failures as well as success.

Patch 5.21 - Updated Ariyala melding guide for the Facet crafting gears with the Dwarven Accessories. The fifth meld has been added to help base stats for crafting the Artisanal recipes for the Ishgard Restoration. If you are not doing these recipes the 5th meld is not needed, 4 melds are more than adequate. This is not "max melding" - it is a more moderate, less expensive version. The melds are adequate to get maximum collectability on the Artisanal items. https://ffxiv.ariyala.com/1CPO5

Patch 5.21 macro page; Important updates on the macro page include 2 and 3 star crafting, collectibles, custom deliveries, rotations for leveling from 71 - 80, Ishgard Restoration 60 durability one button macros, melding guides and a lot more! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing
