FINAL FANTASY 14 AND NEXT GEN

Next generation is right around the corner,
How will FF14 tackle next generation? What would you suggest to improve upon going into next generation for the game?
-big graphical upgrades? Environment, physics, textures, weather , lighting, shadow, maybe even Ray tracing? Etc
-Engine upgrade ? To maybe support fully seamless open world maybe ? Land, air and underwater?
- underwater combat? Air combat? Naval combat?

Nothing will change because they wont give up PS4 support.

I think they will most likely release a new FF based MMO than to upgrade the graphics of FFXIV, that's what they did with FFXI.

Since the next-gen is announced as compatible with the previous generations, I don't expect much changes. In fact there are so many things SE should change to make FFXIV really up-to-date with the next-gen I'm not far to hope and expect a brand new game.
That's right many changes look only cosmetics, but the devil nestles in the details.
This said, a graphic update (textures, clipping) and a full housing overhaul would be nice.

I still want that, crafting, stuff like ishgard now, causally a dungeon would be amazing. IDM hour long grind but its annoying on the pc...

Nothing will change because they wont give up PS4 support.

PS4 is not holding the gae back it's people still using potato computers.

I am pretty sure they will make a new MMO before changing anything in XIV.
