I'm honestly not too sure about that. I've sent my retainers out on thousands of quick ventures since GARO ended and seen lots of PVP gear among other things, but never a GARO piece. Quick ventures are not a "random anything in the game" thing. There are specific sets of gear and types of items that they pull from and there are a lot of things in the game that they will not bring back. You are the only person I have ever seen claim GARO gear can come from quick ventures, so I think you are probably remembering incorrectly either what you actually have, or how you got the Mado Staff.
