This. I'll happily take back Time Dilation or Disable, ty
Undraw should sacrifice card drawn to give Ast 1k mp back.
I second this, buff the useless button to make it give a much needed MP regen skill, it's a win win. Maybe give it a 60s cd so it aligns with Assize, Aetherflow and Lucid.
In the old system Undraw would throw away useless cards, but in this new system no card is useless, so it leaves you with the choice - do I wanna buff someone, or do I wanna regen some MP - much like SCH's ED.

No, just remove it. Draw and redraw basically do just that anyway.
Except AST's can manage with MP at the moment, and sacrificing a card for MP is a DPS loss, so it still won't be used. (SCH's ED is a DPS gain) And again, we don't need any more buttons. Most ASTs have been ignoring Undraw completely since the job was created, we don't need it to be functional now.I second this, buff the useless button to make it give a much needed MP regen skill, it's a win win. Give us some minor MP from drawing cards in general and call it a day.
I want to agree with OP, but Al Gore warned me about him...
At least I think redraw could be made more useful. Sometimes it feels like they've taken away card fishing because everybody wanted the balance and took away the dynamics that made RNG more interesting and replaced them with an RNG system you can do less with...and still fish for cards anyway even though they're all the balance anywhere.
And actually I think the main reason I think the new system feels less engaging is not even that the Bole was damage reduction or that the Arrow was a speed boost. It was that you could take that Bole, you could Royal Road it, then take that Balance and store it for later. You could then throw a Time Dilation on it, or a Celestial Opposition to help push those buffs longer. I mean, hypothetically they could have kept these elements because you could Royal Road based on seals instead, and actually that'd solve my problem when I've got a Solar Seal and Lunar Seal and all I'm getting are Solar and Lunar Seals when I redraw, they could be useful for a Royal Road before I decide to use it for a Minor Arcana or take a weaker Divination.
Squeenix simply needs to revamp the entire card system, get rid of Undraw, and turn Sleeve Draw into something that benefits the party without causing the AST player to switch targets three times, for a total of SIX extra clicks, in addition to clicking and target switching from heals and DPS. I really don't think any job should present players with a choice between performing sub-par and developing carpal tunnel syndrome.

Agreed. Undraw is no longer needed now that you can convert cards to Lord/Lady of Crowns without messing up yoir seal stacks for Horoscope. I don't even have it on my bar anymore.
A better use would be to let you remove the last seal you applied in case you accidentally got two of the same. Perhaps they'll add that functionality later
Undraw should automatically get upgraded to Redraw or Minor Arcana when you get them or removed completely.
I might have used it in a lower level dungeon once, but would probably have been better to just give anyone the card instead as I didn’t have Divination anyway.
