You know, i find it funny how everyone seems to have forgotten that certain jobs/classes will always do more damage than others. This is standard knowledge in every MMO. Some classes like Black Mages will always be high on damage over others, etc. But now we have people who play a ranged job that can keep 100% uptime on damage without having to worry about mechanics or anything else and they want to do the same damage as an actual job that requires them to dodge mechanics and stop DPS, has positional skills and or cast times. No.

Everyone could agree that melee DPS among all other dps jobs should be the higher ones. No physical range players are asking for godly buffs beyond being unfair. It is you who don't understand the situation and want to butt in with brainless comments like is. It is you being the clueless one. Mechanics that target 4 DPS players are always individually separated meaning no one can overlap each other's space. Spaces closer to the boss are by default occupied by melee and tank players. Where can range players be then? It is often the range players that need to be flexible because some melee players just refuse to do mechanics.

Healers...

So long as you fail to keep dps and tanks alive because you refuse to cast or use a "GCD" heal/shield to push more damage, Square-Enix should not, and I encourage them -to not- add complexity to the healer role.

How often does this actually happen? Besides, I'm sure adding complexity won't make healers edge any less (with how game is designed).

I'm guessing you're one of those players that blames healer for not keeping you at 100% HP when you die from AoE.

As a healer: I have no problem keeping tanks and heals alive despite every effort they make to purposely ignore mechanics thinking "I'll Adjust". After so many vulnerability stacks, they're going to be one shot.

Is that a challenge? Because... I mean I could totally put effort into being the exception to that case ;P lol

Well unless you're the healer in that one Eden 7 group when I spaced out during the light/dark waves and stood in the wrong row for my buff after they went into the portals. I'm still not sure how I took 0 damage from that but the fact the other people with my color buff died because they followed me made it more of a wtf moment.

I don't think my dancer needs any buffs not when use my 2 step dance's back to back and crit/dh most the time for 160k and 120k. But I would be all for if they boost my step dance's to where I could crit for over a 1mil dmg.

Don't you remember back before 5.0 where a huge problem was healers had such a complex rotation that they were literally unable to do anything but stand in place and stare at their buttons because healers are all incompetent and can't handle more than 2 damage buttons?

I'd have to disagree with that, while dancer does have a lot of party utility and that's a huge part of the appeal of the class (Heck I like playing it because of that) the personal dps is too low and needs a buff so they're not too reliant on party members to do respectable numbers. (Well dancers are amazing in dungeons, but that's kind of irrelevant since there's no high end dungeons)
