Combining people's need for a global chat feature and the laziness for not using the Player/Party Search features:

Global LFG channel does not allow player input, and appears only when you place yourself into the Player Search, as "Seeking Party" status,
game filters out the party from the Party Search which suits the "Preferred Class" you placed in Player Search and display them on the channel, with a timestamp showing how long the recruit is going to last for.

This way, people crafting or gathering anywhere in the game world can simply click on their chat log tab and be able to know which party is available to them, if they contribute a tiny effort for the recruiters to increase the amount of Player flagging themselves as LFG. And there won't be a channel that players can flood with, making it hard to serve its purpose.

(Just a suggestion which hope SE dudes can take into consideration)

If anyone's ever seen the <Join Party> feature Aion had (not sure if other games had it too), you'd understand why a LFG channel has a lot of benefit to the playerbase. Basically you could put your recruitment link in the LFP channel and someone could click on the <Join Party> and they could see who is in the party, what classes, and then a button for send tell to party leader, or just join if leader set it to free invite. Stuff like that is modern and assembles parties very quickly. We already have a feature (recruiting for party) that could be integrated into this. Too bad it's not accessible while you're crafting or gathering, which is what people may want to do while seeking/looking for party on a different class.

It's suck that your shout cannot reach far side of ul'dah...it has limited range of hearing.
So that's why everyone just gather together in front of market and doing everything and cause the game very laggy.

Yes, it is odd that the range of shout is so very very short. And has such artifical boundry lines. When they said they were going to make it zone-less with no loading... well... they did not quite achieve it. There are 'soft' zones and although there is no 'loading' screen, there is plenty of time spent 'loading' all the people up!

But yes, if you spread shout to at least the same floor/level, that would help a lot. I can easily craft in a far away area rather than with 50 other people trying to listen in on parties being formed. Yet not contribute to the lag.

    Good suggestion.

Or...maybe shutting down the inn in Ul'dah was Yoshi's secret plan to spread out the population!
But, seriously, it's always going to be the city just because everyone gathers there for events.
Maybe a few years down the road they will open Ishgard and that might help?

I'm fine with /shout being heard throughout uldah, I'm not fine /shout being heard everywhere.

As someone said before, I'll be fine with a global linkshell, that you can only shout in once every 30mins or so.

They did not have an equal chance of getting their items sold. The items being sold were sorted by price and time left on auction. The early and cheap items sold first. It took slightly more effort to undercut someone, but it happened all the time, and there were times where I went weeks without selling a single reraise hairpin. There were also weeks where I was the only one selling them and I was spending hours at a time re-listing my wares and undercutting the hell out of my competition to move my goods fast.

The fact that only 20 items show up now on the MW is a failing of the current UI and client. Other MMOs have pages that you can go through, so you can view all goods at once. If your only issue with the current system is that it only lists 20, then ask them to implement pages so that you can see it all.

    So basically in XI:
when a player undercut the price doesn't show up to buyers so the buyers have to guess how much it is so they will resort to The history of items sold and try their luck by lowering 1-10k maybe. and its quite the opposite of XIV marketing system.
Like above, the system was not unbeatable. That's what happens in a free market. As a seller, I had to do an initial investment of buying one RR hairpin to determine what my competition priced their items at, and then I would re-list them all lower. I would only end up losing maybe 5k or 10k gil, but my stuff sold first and it sold fast.

It was even easier with cooking, where the items went extremely fast, and an undercut of 200-1000 gil would make your item by far the cheapest on the market.

Either sync the markets of all the cities or just add like 10 more ward areas in Uldah. Just name them Extra Ward #1-#10. They can have a flat tax rate of 5% for all I care - but we need more. Locking people out of the economy is frustrating.
