    Yes. Tried many different things. Updated windows again. Audio drivers. Again. Chipset drivers. Again. My new headphones are USB so from my understanding they use their own sound card so there’s that. Is there some sort of DirectX stuff I could look at? It’s annoying when I get Grand Cosmos every day for roulette and the second boss only plays half of her aoe sound effects

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    We would not be able to provide any advice on DirectX settings or features as it is a Windows program. For more information on DirectX, we would recommend contacting Microsoft. In regards to the SFX cutting in and out, unfortunately, we do not have any further troubleshooting to try. As this point, we would recommend posting a Bug Report in the "In-game Bugs" forum so that our team may look into the issue further. That way this matter would be escalated to the appropriate team.
