For those wondering exact costs and bonuses from finishers, this guide is really helpful:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1135637474

I've gotten to the point where I rarely use Hasty Touch outside of my build up now (if I get a double pliant early is the only time I spam). I focus a lot more on using prudent than I used to, with inno up and ignoring WN2 later on in the rotation. Saves me a huge rng headache. Also remelded to have 2571 control with food, which helps.

    That's quite handy, cheers.

My most common finisher seems to be at the 301 cp mark. The sooner I can steer away from Hasty Miss the better.

I really like the new crafting, but Hasty Touch and Rapid Synth can burn in a fire xD

Just because you might not be adept at something doesn't mean others must be cheating.

And I'm not even completely max melded or using CP syrups. If I get bad luck with procs I'll still finish around 30 steps with a tier 2 craft.

If you're taking 50+ steps, you're either not properly melded or not making full use of your skills.

My melds are fine. I've got 2500 crafts and 2571 control with food. I'm following every single guide I've seen and I'm trying new things. I've gotten most of my crafts down below 40 steps, but still end up having to use a lot of steps while I'm building stacks if things go wrong (especially if I don't get a Centered or Patient Touch fails). Are all your crafts done in 28-30 steps? If so, how? What opener are you using?

Heck, I saw on Discord someone was completing crafts is 17-18 steps, though I have no clue how.

The trick is to bail on failing crafts before they can drag on. I use a standard Muscle Memory opener and restart if it goes poorly. I build IQ stacks aggressively (including using Preparatory Touch on Pliant if I can afford to) and gamble on un-Centered Patient Touches if the process takes too long.

If I cannot get progress one step from completion and build 11 stacks in my first 200-300 CP, I either quit (usually after rolling the dice on un-Centered Patient Touches and failing) or finish the craft with tier 1/2 collectibility. In the time it takes to rehabilitate a flagging craft and drag it over the finish line with Hasty Touches and Tricks of the Trade, you can just craft another item for more points.

Yeah. I will purposely fail if RS manages to fail during MuMe but usually try to save the craft if I get bad peocs later. Mats are cheap for the most part, but earth's are rising quite a bit.

On another note, I realized I had a few hundred Hydrozoan Umbrellas on a retainer so I'm making a bunch of HQ Commanding Craftsman Syrup. Those should put me around 2600 control. And I can sell what I don't need for profit.

Some new feedback after all these posts. I will not post a rotation. Last one ruined crafting difficulty.

I use a 30 step rotation, yes a rotation. Not macroable, but repeatable and it takes about 2 minutes for 50-max quality.
Quitting point is step 11. But recoverable in last 3 steps if you saved cp from pliants as it is bonus and not required.
Any cp saved during any step improves your average quality.
Goods are used for quality. This is why the big quality range.
    635 cp required.

That seems like a stretch, or God-like RNG with plaints and reds... OR, maybe there is a simple super rotation and we can't see the forest for the trees!
