ARR quest reduction question.

If you mean Main Scenario Quests, no, nothing's been changed - except for the ability to purchase a story skip potion from mogstation.

As far as I've been playing you've always been able to do that. But, I remember yoshi p saying they were reducing the amount of quest in arr and hw. I was just curious if there was a specific point in time and if we know which parts are being taken out.

Has not happened yet. I believe that they are taking out a lot of the fetch quests that have no real impact on the main story other than having you fetch something in an area that you just so happen to need to go to for the next MSQ.

Havent heard anything about them reducing the quests in HW at all, but the ARR MSQ changes are still upcoming, they havent happened yet. Last I heard they were aiming tentatively for 5.3.

We know nothing yet, though I imagine it's mostly to do with the neverending sea of quests between ARR and HW?

A while back they mentioned aiming for 5.3 for some of the MSQ reworks but there's been no actual info released on the subject.

5.3 is the timing they were aiming for the revamp. we have no other word as of yet as to how the actual progress on that is going.
