How odd. You were accusing me of hyperbole in a previous post yet resort to just that in your current post. It also seems to be quite the juxtaposition to your signature.

It contributes to the problem. There's two types of locks when it comes to character creation. One is a hard lock which is an outright ban on new characters for the set duration. The other is a soft lock which is tied to how many people are online on a server at the time. As someone who played on Balmung in the past I'm familiar with the soft lock and logging on at weird hours when fewer people were online proved to be an effective route for quite a while.

Uh... okay? Please enlighten me on how my signature relates to not wanting an AFK timer implemented. If it's something along the lines of "afk people restrict my ability to log into the game" then don't bother as that's laughable (particularly in light of the 30 second queues) and misses the point of the quote entirely. The actual meaning of that signature is that it is a Bioware game dev's response to a straight male's forum rant demanding that their games not have LGBT relationships in it at all because in said ranter's opinion games should only ever cater to the majority, meaning him.
