Add AFK logout timer to Limsa

I wouldn't mind an AFK boot timer, but I'd almost rather see them redesign the other cities to make them more appealing and to encourage people to actually use the one they want to hang out in. LL is just the most "convenient" one with everything you need basically being right next to the aetheryte plaza, so it attracts the most people...and people aren't forced to log out, so it's a compounding problem.

The only reason Limsa has so many people is because its one of the better designed two-area cities, and is also one of the three starting cities so not only does new players a good impression of how active the game actually is, but it also affords them the opptunity to meet new people and/or ask questions they may want answered. Ul'Dah and Gridania should have minor redesigns or better yet, the ARR and HW cities shouldn't be two areas, they should be 1 like in SB and SHB.

Why afk timers specifically in limsa? Do you want this MMO to feel even more unpopulated than it already feels? Most people in limsa aren't even afking, they're hanging out and talking to friends. What would kicking afk players back to login do exactly? How would it benefit everyone else?

Limsa is a social hub. I think booting people would be a bad idea.

There's nothing social about leaving your game running while you leave the house or go to sleep. Every time I go to Limsa to go to my GC or something I see at least a dozen people with fancy weapons out AFKing around the aetheryte. Probably to try to show off to other players as if anyone actually cares. That's not socializing.

A social hub is a gathering of players regardless of what they're doing. Limsa is no different than Ironforge circa 2005 WoW.
