The extreme linearity, more extreme than Sastasha or Copperbell Mines, adds to its feeling of absolute and abject boredom, and misery for some people. The green pools that constantly slow you are very annoying, the slow isn't too bad, but the constant "debuff" and "debuff expiring" sound effects are, I shouldn't have to mute the game in order to not go insane.
Not to mention that 67.4% of the time (all made-up statistics are 108.2% more amusing if arbitrarily precise to at least one decimal place) someone tears off at a sprint and the party follows, only to realize much later that in that mad dash one magitek photocell got overlooked somewhere back along the path, and so you end up having to backtrack to grab it.

I aim to make my posts engaging and entertaining, even when you might not agree with me. And failing that, I'll just be very, VERY wordy.

Reminds of Halatali. Forget that one chain winch at the beginning of the dungeon and a backtrack we go.
