Odds are I missed it, but did anyone ask OP what Roulette they are running?
Because Amaurot has been out of Expert Rotation for abit now. And I doubt Leveling is putting them there

It was Amaurot in the 80 roulette. I run all the roulettes daily mostly for gil and I do actually like the social interaction, even if nobody says anything. I just find group content fun. If I just want tomestones, I'll run with trusts or just do expert.
But lately it seems like every time I queue for the level 80 roulette, I get Amaurot. It's at least been the last four times, maybe more. I'm just tired of it, and I dislike the fact my gear is synced down to 440. I've started taking the advice from others in this thread and have just stopped queuing for 80 roulette.
And new players can run Amaurot with Trusts for the story. That's why SE made Trusts to begin with, so players can do MSQ dungeons and progress through the story without delays or stress.

Imagine not enjoy the game you play.
Yes, Orbonne is fun. Has some of the better mechanics, and I love FFT.
Basically every other Alliance Raid is dull, with Lighthouse being the next best one.
I simply won't run Alliance roulette unless there's some serious incentive, such as mog tomes and there's an Item I have to have.
But hopefully the next round of mog tomes will be on the Ivalice Raids anyway.
There needs to be a way to remove content entirely so I can only have the one instanced encounter to do over and over again with no variation, or else it's too much for me to handle!

If you aren't willing to run ANY duty in a roulette then don't queue for it. Go to the other tab and pick the one you want to do.

My first post on these forums is from 2013 - before roulletes were even a thing. I saw that having no incentive to run older content was going to lead to new players and alternate characters getting absolutely roadblocked on needing parties for required dungeons and voiced my concerns.
The roulletes are not there for you. They are there for people trying to get through the game. That's why you get paid to do them.
As much as I hate getting instance x over and over, imagine how many people would just quit playing when they can't get their progression done after several weeks of queueing. Everyone would number crunch the least efficient dungeon and opt out of it, killing any players needing it to move forward. FC groups can help to be sure, but the roulletes exist more for the people between the cracks that don't have social networks to help them.
There are other angles to approach this from, but I don't think this is the answer.

necroing old thread. I really want nothing to do with dawntrail content. I want an opt out option for all of it from roulette . I want it to become a fever dream. I don't want to touch it like a toxic radioactive waste dump.

Go do dungeon roulettes on Dynamis and you're pretty much guranteed to never see Dawntrail content! Downside: Hope you like running lots and lots of ARR and HW dungeons.
