Dunno if they'd do it? The Ivalice stuff might have been an opportunity for that particular version, but we already got Cuchulainn in Void Ark. I mean, it'll be cool as the esper fights were in XII.

That said, more Ivalice references in the new relic quest line if I recall. Maybe opportunities there.

Ah Cuchulainn from Ivalice, the name has been used for a void ark boss but nothing says can't have another version maybe even with the prefex Cu as another boss, just if it is going to happen (I believe we will see all Ivalice espers) it most likely be with the new relic questline which requires Ivalice raid series done.

TECHNICALLY Sky Pirates are an Ivalice thing, so for XIV to have its own Sky Pirate themed content is sorta related to Ivalice as a theme. You could infer that the Sky Pirate raids are a precursor to the Ivalice raids, but aren't required to unlock them.

Since this thread has already been necro'd I'll just say that FFXII Cuchulainn is coming as a boss in the new large scale assault "The Dalriada" as part of the "Zadnor" Battlefield instance in 5.55

The Ivalice version of Cuchulainn will be a boss fight in patch 5.55's Bozja content, apparently.
