I think Wondrous Tales needs an update for usability.

I asked my friends/fc mates if they used the Wondrous tales feature, and only one out of 9 of them said they do. I myself try to use it, but always forget to actually mark the stamps off. Not to mention I literally never go to Idyllshire anymore except to pick it up. I think this needs to have an update where either there are more locations to pick up/turn in or it's added as a UI only system. Not to mention, I am pretty sure the 3 line chance was greatly reduced with Shadowbringers, making it even more worthless to bother with.

At the very least, remove the mechanic where the book becomes useless, just have the stamps reset when the time runs out. Having to go turn it in, then pick up a new one is so stupid.

I stopped doing it. The rewards just aren't worth the hassle most of the time and when they are, its RNG whether or not you complete the lines to get them so its still a waste of my time in nearly all cases where the rewards tempt me to try.

I do WT on two characters, but sometimes I'll skip a week if the prizes aren't interesting enough or I'm just not feeling it.

Personally I think more players would be confused/angry if the book reset on its own than with the current system, which I find to be fine. I'm already in Idyllyshire at least once a week anyway for deliveries and poetic dumps, it's not like it's out of the way and there's already a 2 week grace period.

The only problem I have with the book is that because I run with my friends to do my daily roulettes I rarely get any Second Chance bonuses. It just means I need to do more activities though - I don't think it's intended for me to just spam resets soloing primals or doing EX dailies, that's just me being lazy.

The amount of chances and RNG of getting 3 lines doesn't make it any better.
I sadly have to agree there. I do it time to time and even then, 1-2 lines are just to unreliable. And if you are unlucky you'll get poetics or 10k gil. Which is a waste of time.

the prizes for 3 lines never changes anymore but it's also nearly impossible to get them. the 1 mil MGP is practically useless because it's too easy to amass MGP. 3 silver certificates are also useless because that's used for old gear which is not necessary anymore imo. the only prize worth getting is the 1 gold certificate and even then using to get ornate DoW/DoM gear is a waste because you just wait two weeks and you buy a tome piece that has better stats and is upgradeable later on. i have 1 gold certificate and am waiting for an ornate crafter body piece to become available for 5.x.

I simply found I wasn't really running enough content to fill anything out. But, I'm not exactly "endgame" with nothing else to do anyway. I've got things to progress, and spending time unsyncing old content for little to no great reward isn't worth the effort most of the time.

I just wish they would move the vendor to a more current place. Every other vendor has got an updated location in the current expansion, why not WT? It doesn't need an update, it needs a ShB version of it.

If I changed something, I would make it a component proper rather than a key item. You would still be able to choose when you complete one; lorewise, it would just be a big book, and you turn the page when you are done. The difference is now you don't have a key item for it and it's a UI component, and you can start a new one anywhere. Probably still need to visit Khloe to relay the story to her, though. Telling her over linkpearl just isn't very magical.

Another thing I'd like to see migrated from key item and be accessible anywhere is hunt bills. Figure you could just have them in your hunting log, since it loses its purpose almost immediately in your journey. It would make more sense if we can get the new marks anywhere and everywhere.
