This is the video I was talking about.

To say the game is difficult is kind of pushing it. It's easy to learn the mechanics. It's easy to learn how to play your class. The only difficulty comes from whether or not the rest of your group is aware of how to play the game.
When people are learning content for the very first time is the only point where things are difficult but that passes quickly over time.

Nothing in this game is hard other than extreme, savage, and ultimate raids and even those are getting cleared day one.
Actually the only hard thing in this game is getting your perfect glamour

Eden Verse Savage was cleared on day 2, Alexander Ultimate was 5 days.

I thought Alexander Ultimate took two weeks...Could have sworn I read somewhere that a bunch of folks did it in two weeks gaming for 12 hrs a day

I admit Normal stuff are easy. Extreme, Savage and Ultimate, I think you need a special brain for doing that. There is too much information in the screen for me and I don't have the reflex to deal with all the mecanics and the rotation. I'm a old-school turn-based RPG player, so when the thing are going very hard, I need to think, not to react. So, people saying Savage it's easy because you just have to memorize the boss pattern and doing your rotation, well, good for you if it's easy, but it's really not for me.

Oh, you mean like how SAMs rotation currently relies on incredibly tight timings of your rotation or you risk losing tons of dps due to skills not lining up? That's not just a Wow thing lol. Maybe actually play some of xivs jobs at a high level before spouting this nonsense.LMAO at suggesting FFXIV's DPS is hard...
Where all but 3 jobs (Including Tanks and Healers) simply push their buttons in a pre-determined rotation. With those 3 jobs that don't (BRD, DNC and RDM) having procs that they basically press when they flash up (With a slight difference for DNC holding onto 3/4 feathers for when CD's are popped)
Meanwhile, during several expansions, Feral Druid in WoW has been so tightly focused around DoT and Buff uptimes that many of the top players in the game have noted that the only way to achieve its maximum DPS was to be a literal robot even when simply fighting a dummy and having no mechanics to deal with either.
Also, WoW's addons that tell you the mechanics that are coming up doesn't negate the fact that FFXIV literally not only tells you the abilities being used anyway because all the bosses sit there casting them for like 5 seconds, but they're also used in a set order as is, so if you watch a video guide you can literally know every ability a boss will use and the exact time they will use it before even setting foot inside a Duty/Raid/Trial.
To say nothing about how due to WoW's bosses actually using random timers for its skills, your addons simply tell you the minimum time for a boss skill to become available.
Though I digress, since my original post was merely about DPS rotations and not content (Given that a majority of WoW's content is faceroll, which is not much different to FFXIV. For difficult content its Mythic Raids vs Savage/Ultimate)
