Dragoon Weapon Question

What weapon is better for Dragoon and why?

The Ruby Partisan ilvl 485: https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Ruby_Partisan

Or the Crystarium Spear ilvl 490: https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Crystarium_Spear

I've only been playing Dragoon seriously since the drop of patch 5.2, and I am focusing my substats as follows:

Crit > Direct Hit > Determination > Skillspeed

Is that Crystarium Spear better because of the +1 weapon damage and more strength or is the Ruby Partisan weapon better for me because of the substats?

Weapon Damage > all, so yes, even the 1 point makes it better.

Weapon Damage > all, so yes, even the 1 point makes it better.

Not only that, but the 5 extra levels also give you a little more of your main stat attribute (STR) and more substats total on top of the extra Weapon Damage.
