Pondering some lore on the Path of the Twelve

I'llofii: “I hereby leave one third of my total estate to the Order of Nald'thal of the Arrzaneth Ossuary.
I'llofii: “In return for this consideration, I humbly request that my death be avenged should my days be cut short by unnatural causes.”
I'llofii: Vengeance will be had for those whose breath is taken from them.
I'llofii: This pious and charitable soul was taken from us by a beast of the wild─a crazed billygoat, we have learned.

As we know, the Merchants Ward is where the Path of the Twelve is found. There, Lady Minfilla describes herself as "Acting Andecedant". A term used to imply that she is only filling the role of the Andecedant until the rightful holder of the position returns or a new person can be appointed.

I wonder if there is a connection? I'd like to at least think there is, as it would give the concept of "unnatural causes" a whole new light.

That's a really interesting deduction there. I didn't realize that the Merchant ward and that connection was that close, although to be honest I thought the Merchants ward was going to be a lot bigger. It also sounds like he knew what was going to happen, if in fact he had the power of Echo, perhaps into the future instead of just the past?
