Looking for Savage Raid Static (DPS or other)

Currently playing SAM, i480 with penta meld craftables

80s: SAM, DRG, DRK, GNB, WHM, BRD, BLM, RDM (soon-ish all)

I played mostly DRG hardcore in 2.0 through Bahamut. Came back for a bit in Stormblood and had to stop for job/family reason. Nothing on the horizon for why I would need to stop again.

Most interested in playing SAM (I've gotten rather good with it) but rather to switch to something else for raid for the right group.

For the OP:
Use "The Balance FFXIV discord", they have recruitment channels. You can also find the FFXIV Discord Recruiter and Transcendent which is a fantastic place to find a group. There's also the reddit page which will automatically be fed into the recruiter discord.

Of course, your FFlogs can, and will be searched so hopefully you've done well, by statics who are looking for members.

At your raid history you may as well be totally fresh to the game... honestly when people say, "I raided in coils" it's like...."okay, boomer". It's worthless experience compared to how the game works now, that's a huge gap of over 6 years or so.

Just do the best that you can and I'd honestly just pug this tier, do as good as you can and then apply for a static next tier. Or, you can join a casual static. Most midcore and hardcore statics are progging later floors now and don't need to recruit, and you would be starting fresh...they aren't. Unless you are a god tier DRG and they had some weirdo that needed to get kicked... you aren't getting a spot in those, you are limited to casual statics at this point and honestly, it's better to just PUG at that point.

PUG strats aren't too bad and the groups I've been in honestly progged faster than my static.
