I think you need to go back and re-read what I wrote.That's because you didn't pray RNGesus enough. He don't care about the efforts made, like when you are the one carrying an entire raid and gets nothing at the end, while all the players who were dying again and again gets all the drops. Even with the respawn timer at 90%, you still have one chance out of ten to pop nothing. I have seen this with quite a few Ixtab (300 ronka mobs to kill).
That being said you did answer your question yourself by saying "if you want to keep them rare, fine". They wouldn't be rare anymore if they were spawning every hour to fit with your sleeping/school/work hours, do they ? XD

I feel like the tiny HP pools on ARR hunts are the biggest issue presently.
It takes less then two minutes for a level 80 DPS to solo kill one now, which makes some random player picking off something you spawned before you can even locate it a very realistic possibility.
SE already made it easier. They added world visit. Instead of being limited to just your world's S rank spawns, you can do them on every world in your data center.Pretty much every response here amounts to “but I got my tiger the long way so you should too.”

Get in a cross world linkshell that relays S ranks and you can get those achievements fairly quick if you want them that badly.

I don't have the tiger btw yet I've been actively spawning Sranks since Storm blood.
Hunts should be buffed so they don't die in seconds, but they already spawn multiple times a day across data centers.

I'm fine with newer players trying to catch up.
But the system for hunts is still just fine the way it is, imo.
If you're simply after reducing time gated objectives (which is really seems like) you're simply playing the wrong game.

when we are at this... I would like to have 'Hand of Mercy' for 10 assists in pvp and astrope for going 5 dungeons without mentor crown, because becoming a mentor is too much work anyway
and why dont we have ultimate weapons from retainer quick ventures
