Thanks for helping make the FFXIV community a fun and welcoming place. If you're not sure you have (and you very likely have), make it a point to be patient or helpful the next time you log in so that you can know you've made a difference.
If you're on the Aether data center, congratulations! I might be your nextexciting adventurehealer in the Duty Finder. Please look forward to it.
it would be impossible. no one can defeat godbert or juylian
If I beat Godbert will I get his magic golden hammer and undergarments for glamour...?
Well, that's just it.
The way I would envision it, you get him to like 90% health after a super-hard fight, then he is like, "Good workout", and approves you going on to the next boss since he feels better about your odds of not dying (being a friend of Hildy and all). I mean, it's a Hildebrand-themed ultimate. All of the battles would be super-quirky and have odd goals and mechanics. But still, getting the whole raid going on a 10-malm droplex by Godbert or being pan-powed by Juylian would be great. You need to get to the next boss after surviving her husband so... *whack* and off we go!!!!
Things wouldn't all have to make sense or follow the original stories exactly (maybe even some fourth wall observations, "Is this really how this goes?"). Just glorious absurdity (like a boss who seems to remember us and refer to things that never happened throughout the fight, yet whom we've never seen before) and no limits on how outrageous mechanics and animations can be.

Nope, Thordan Ultimate or Alexander Ultimate
Fair enough, but they can make more than one per expansion, especially after seeing how well the first two went over. Thordan Ultimate would be... well, like the Vatican entering a futuristic version of Eurovision with a mind-tripping laser light/hologram show. Would be amazing just to watch even if you didn't understand the game or mechanics or combat.
Still, at *some point*, would a Hildy Ultimate be something of interest?

I was always a bit sad that Greg EX wasn't a thing back in ARR.
Didn't they have a special eight-player version of Yojimbo as a boss at the fanfest?
I feel like we'll probably get that in some form or fashion.
I don't know about ultimates, but I wouldn't be averse to some more Hildy trials. Those were so fun!
